Transformations Continue to Elevate the Shopping Experience
Brownsville, Texas (October 21, 2025) – Sunrise Mall is redefining the shopping experience with a wave of grand openings, immersive entertainment, and stylish renovations that promise to delight visitors. Here’s what’s happening:
Lovisa opened this summer offering trendy jewelry and accessories, located next to Aeropostale.
Victoria’s Secret & Pink’s store remodel is complete and brings a fresh look and enhanced shopping experience.
Burgendougs is now serving mouth-watering smashburgers and signature homemade sauces in the Food Court.
Z Cages Hitters Hangout now open next to H&M and brings the first Strikezon in the state of Texas, offering players at all skill levels an immersive experience featuring baseball and softball simulators, and the only HitTrax in the RGV.
Cinemark 16 is being upgraded with heated Luxury Loungers—plush, adjustable recliners for enhanced comfort—and D-BOX technology, which synchronizes movement and vibration with on-screen action for a truly immersive movie experience.
Perfume Gallery, located next to American Eagle, is also receiving a refresh just in time for the fall season.
Barnes & Noble set to open in a new 27,978-square-foot location next to Main Event. The Grand Opening is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:00 PM. Stay tuned for grand opening details on sunrisemalltx.com and Sunrise Mall’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
Windsor is set to debut its latest fashion trends at Sunrise Mall mid-November, with its new store next to Versona.

Shoppers can enjoy these new shops and attractions during mall hours, Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 7 p.m. Anchor stores, restaurants and entertainment venue hours may vary.
